Happy 2009!!!!

I am starting the year off by, #1, having a STASH BUSTING SALE on my etsy site, here…I went on a mad cleaning and organizing kick, and decided to sell off about one third of my stash! Good stuff, I tell you, at ROCK BOTTOM prices! UPDATE: I have the majority of it now posted, including some retired Anna Maria Horner, Heather Ross and Amy Butler fabrics!

And, #2, having a giveaway in conjunction with Debi’s Whirl Into Winter giveaway! I will be giving away this lovely blue & white “Winter Wonderland” table runner, made in the style of my Jolly Holly Table Runner, on January 15, 2009! It measures 14″ x 47″.
It can be yours if you leave a comment on this post bewteen 12:01 a.m. January 1, and 11:59 p.m. January 14, 2009.   5. Happy New Year, What a lovely version of your runner!One of my resolutions this year is to help my 10 year old dd to become comfortable using the sewing machine on her own.   10. Happy New Year!I have the usual resolutions…keep losing weight, become more organized, etc.I also want to work on my sewing. I want to increase my knowledge and ability to make quilts. I definitely need more practice using my rotary cutter!

The biggest one is getting organized and staying organized. I’m well on my way and looking forward to implementing the changes that I want to make.

My resolution for the new year is that I WILL start sewing/embroidering and getting at least two projects a month completed. The last part of 2008 I totally slacked off and did absolutely nothing.   54. Lovely table runner! I collect snowmen and this would be perfect to display as well. Here in northern Maine, my snowmen are displayed from Dec to April…that’s when they start to melt here….winter is soooooo LONG here! Shelley who is wrapped in a blanket as I type.
