It’s been about three weeks since I first showed you the bright Sandi Henderson Meadowsweet fabrics for my next project. Well for about two of those weeks, the sewing studio was eerily quiet, and this was as far as I managed to get:

But then this past weekend finally arrived, along with two days of non-stop sewing (BIG happy sigh…..) The Featherweight performed like a champ:

The blocks started coming together…taking shape….

And by Sunday morning I had this to show for it:

A finished quilt top, a blooming meadow of bright colored flowers, swarmed with butterflies!

Now, I just need to find the time to quilt it….
