Spring Quilt Market: Eye Candy

I’m on Cloud 9….

I spent last Friday and Saturday in Minneapolis, trekking the floor of Spring Quilt Market. I love the inspiration that comes from seeing the newest fabric lines, pattern ideas, display and merchandising ideas… I have a second job at a quilt shop in the Des Moines area (“to support my fabric habit”), and I was fortunate enough to be invited to join the owner for Market. I was, without doubt, on Cloud 9. Here’s some eye candy from my visit to the Twin Cities:

It’s no doubt I love most anything Halloween + Fabric, the newest line from Riley Blake Designs is no exception. This is the “Boo to You” collection from My Mind’s Eye. (Click on photos to enlarge)

And it’s hard not to smile when you see Sandy Klop’s American Jane designs…

Sue Spargo outdoes herself with color…every single time. She also has a glorious new book, “Contemporary Folk”, coming out! G*L*O*R*I*U*S.

Sandy Gervais had the sweetest little boy’s room set up in her booth…

The Moda Home gals went all out with a circus theme complete with sassy costumes, when I asked to take there picture, they jumped behind the counter to pose! Too bad you can’t see the entire costume…

I could have moved right into the Sweetwater booth, and that new line of fabric is amazing… “Pure”…

A pretty display at the Atkinson Designs booth…

Art Gallery Fabrics….what’s not to love?!… She has these great bag kit ideas…wonderful!

Heather Ross’s Far Far Away 2 fabric line in the Kokka booth…

Pillow & Maxfield new Pretty Bird line, the colors and designs are right up my alley!

Come back tomorrow, I have lots more to share from the Moda, Westminster and Amy Butler booths!
