2. So… do you plan to dress up this year?

4. Will you attend a costume party?
5. Do you make you/your kid’s costumes?

Is Halloween just another day to you, and you don’t get excited about pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, giving out candy or coming up with a creative costume idea?

we are going to dress up this year but we haven't decided as what yet. We own a pizza restaurant and on halloween night we give out free slices of pizza to all the trick or treaters! Last year we just wore funny hats… this year we need to get into it a little more!
One year my cousin dressed up as a Christmas tree complete with lights. Only problem was she had to stand by an outlet to light up. I don't usually dress up but my DH loves to dress up. DH used to be the one to take the kids out. He was Santa one year and had kids running after him telling him what they wanted for Christmas. There are no pets at our house but I used to make the kids outfits. Probably no parties this year. I think I'll be babysitting.
1. What's the most clever costume you've ever seen? Some friends dressed as Karate Kid and Miagi for a party (she was Karate Kid!)
2. So… do you plan to dress up this year? Um, well, we'll see what I can come up with. I had a Harry Potter professor robe I made from velvet curtains but I remade it into a queen outfit for a friend's daughter (school project)
3. Do you Dress just to trick-or-treat with your kids? I give out the candy so I usually don't dress up unless I throw on a hat or something.
4. Will you attend a costume party? No parties around here unfortunately!
5. Do you make you/your kid's costumes? I have; made my daughter a Clifford costume when she was 1, made both kids HP robes and wands last year.
6. Do you get costumes for your pet? What are they going to be this year? We only have a 19 year old cat and I don't think that would go over very well.
We used to host Halloween parties with themes, and I always made our costumes. I'm still making costumes – my last “great” one was a gingerbread man costume for my six foot something son for the Santa Pub Crawl…. 🙂
Oh, and the beagle always goes as Underdog!
