This color combo has been a fairly popular trend this year, and my newest quilt is following the in crowd. I showed you the sneak peek here, the top is now finished:
It’s made with a new Heather Peterson pattern, Spanish Tiles, from her book Living Large 2. The photos aren’t great, I should have gotten outside yesterday to snap some, but I waited too long. So Kato, got in the way, naturally… (see the tail in the upper left, here:)
Turned himself around…until he got exactly the spot he wanted…
Then eventually worked to get himself uncovered again…

This is why I try to lay things out on the floor when the kitties are otherwise occupied. The fabrics in this quilt are primarily Art Gallery Fabrics…
My sewing studio redo is coming soon–I now have my Janome in a recessed table–EXCITING!

Having a level spot for your Janome will do wonders for you… Makes it so much easier to work.
