What I made this weekend…

I worked at the Quilt Junction this weekend, and while there I agreed to make two store samples for the owner. I finished the first one on Sunday, this cute “Four Corner’s Apron” by Vanilla House Designs, made out of my favorite Kaffe Fassett fabric, ever…
It’s not a great photo, but there is a pocket with a flap on the bottom right of the apron, and a flap at the top neck, which I embellished with these great flower buttons. It’s cute, and super simple to make. Probably took less than an hour to complete.
I haven’t started the second sample, it’s a Wallet Purse, from a pattern by Favorite Things. This is the pattern, fabric and buttons I plan to use.
I’ve also been busy washing, sorting, pressing, bundling and organizing a HUGE collection of fabric, dressmaker patterns, and vintage linens that I got from an estate sale last week…but that’s a story for another post…

Let me know what you have to say on the subject....
