There is just something about these retro style sassy little girls and their kittens…I bought two pieces of this fabric, on two different occasions, at two different shops–possibly forgetting I already had a chunk of it. Maybe I knew I already had some and just couldn’t resist having more! Everyone I know keeps having baby boys, so it hasn’t been made into a quilt for a special sassy little girl…although, my niece, Mattie, might be just the perfect recipient…maybe for her sixth birthday this New Year’s.

Technically, it’s not a UFQ, it hasn’t been cut and started yet, still an USP.

The pattern I had intended on is a nine patch variation with these charming gals in big patches in between. Any other ideas? Maybe an apron or non-quilt project?
